Born in Iceland, Gudmundsdottir splits her time between London, Los Angeles, Paris and Reykjavík. Gudmundsdottir is known for her artistic and versatile approach to storytelling driven by her unparalleled imagination.
As a stylist and creative consultant, Gudmundsdottir’s work extends to talent styling, commercial, campaign, runway and costume design. Edda has collaborated with Andrew Thomas Huang, Dave Meyers, Joseph Kahn, Sophie Muller and Tim Walker. Her client list includes Del Core, Maybelline, Jo Malone, Noir Kei Ninomiya, Rambert Dance Company, and styling for publications including Acne Paper, AnOther Magazine, Purple, and Vogue Scandinavia.
